Hey Juniors! I believe you all have grown a lot, and got more bonded already, through so many practices and performances. And indeed, the seniors who went back have seen how much you all have improved and grown!

Right now, it's less than a month to your SYF. You all probably won't even feel as much 'nervousness', pressure, etc NOW. But, when it's getting nearer and nearer to your SYF, all these 'feelings' will increase. Know how to cope with them ok?

No matter what, just do your VERY, VERY best, and I believe you all will reap what you all have sowed! Have confidence in yourself!

And, your TAI FENG ('stage wind', haha) must improve ok?! [You guys are really not moving much!!! When you all pluck, try to everyone-at-the-same-height and speed when you all move your fingers down.]

In short, just JIA YOU, do your best, have confidence, and really have MO QI (chemistry) with one another! Flow together!

P.S. Gosh! I think I'm writing a letter or what! Haha.

TECC CONCERT on 22.03.09 (Sun) ;

It's been a LONG, LONG time.....

It's been a long, long time since someone blogged!
And, so, I'm gonna blog about your Esplanade Performance!

Anyway, I'm sorry that I couldn't join the Alumni Practices and the performance, due to my working hours, and schedule.
Believed you guys had done a GREAT job!

Well, it's great seeing my juniors performing in Esplanade, and I believe you guys had a memorable time too, especially playing cards in the toilet, right?!! Haha.

SO sad that I didn't get to take pics of you all and with you all!

Well, Wendy and I've seen the way how some of you have changed, from: ~
- being someone who's so unmotivated, to someone who plays with confidence ;
- being someone who's afraid tovplay, to someone who even sits on the outer side of the row ;
- being someone who's challenging, to someone who leads the whole section in playing ;
- etc!

For example :
WEI JIA --> From last time's "I don't care" attitude, you've REALLY changed!
And, you've got the Mr. Qu Feng's shadow in you!
So, JIA YOU, believed you've got a future in MUSIC!

ELEANOR --> Hey girl! I really like your "I don't give up" attitude! You dared to step out of your comfort zone, and become the person who's sitting at the outside of the back row! And I'm really proud of you for that! Great improvements in your skills too!

GLENN --> Still remember the times when you challenged me to the Principal Player's post!
Well, anyway, you've made good use of it, and may you lead the section in playing to a higher level!

SALLY & KEIKO --> Hey girls! Really thanks for helping the section out in all the admin, planning, in taking charge of the things, rising up to the occasion!

Hello everyone!

Sorry that it's been a long long time since the this blog is updated.

- Right now, the cello-bass section has been busy with practising for the CCA Bazaar, that will be this coming friday!

And, our selected piece, is KANON-IN-D!

- We're also practising Tian Shan Sheng Hui, for the Chinese New Year Performance, which hopefully will turn out well.

But, I think we all did a rather great job.

- We will also have our own sectional's signature piece, coming up soon, all thanks to Brenda, who's been helping us convert the notes!

Hi all!
Well, there's lots of practices this holiday.
Just keep track of your schedule.
Do be punctual, and know where to report to, at the appropriate time.

Something to say:
I'm actually proud of the sec 2s girls (think you know who you are), for stepping out and playing for the FIRST combine prac today, despite not knowing the song at all!

And, I really see these changes, in your attitude, behavior, etc, and I'm really proud that you all have done it.

Date/Day: Thursday, 6 September 07
Time/Venue: Meeting at 1pm, at Bedok Mrt platform, Life area (Subject to changes),
[Then we'll make our way together to Marina Bay]

Attire: - A white/black/red top (Colour code)
- Your own bottom, can be shorts/ bermudas
- Covered shoes, can be Sports shoes/ School shoes/ others (Own protection)

==> Anything SPORTING, COMFORTABLE & RELAXING!

Things to bring:
- Ez-link card
- Money, at least $15.
- Water Bottle (optional)
- Cap/ Hat, Umbrella, Camera (optional)
- Extra set of clothes to change, after the games (optional)

Things you all can try to bring, if you have:

hey guys, our hard work has finally paid off! From sucky yin zhun till very perfect yin zhun, from zao xia xuan lu to nice nice melody; from being one of the slack slack sections to the super chiong one; hey, we reap what we sow already!

gold with honours isn't pian hui lai de, its all our hard work. remember the days where we bought our boyfriends/girlfriends home? remember the intensive extra practises? remember the cheater black-coloured marking stickers? Been there, done that.

I'm so proud of my cellobass family! For once our yin was super zhun even in a va mt (jess say one) and we didnt gan jie zou for bar 73 of jian kuai! wheeee(:

actually dont you guys think that thursdays no co very wierd? I came home around three plus feeling very empty. No matter how much we complain about co, rant about the scoldings and the stupid tiao ying qi string(me only, and the bloody thing cannot work again; it has a life of its own) and also about almost anything, depp in our hearts we still love co alot .

right? right?

tuesdays and thursdays are never gonna be the same again. Oh dear, one day only and i'm missing co like siao already :(

today was the rehersal at SCH. We did fairly well, but there are still things that we can improve on, like pitching etc etc.

yesterday was cca bazzar day, as well as keiko's birthday (:

today we finally had our co practice.
too bad a few of us were not there.
the seniors were like practicing in their own world before the break.
the juniors like sotong like tat.just sit there doing there own stuff.
then yong xiong suddenly appear.gave us a shock.but its onli for awhile.
winnie didn't come.can't blame her.
the seniors played a veri bad standard of canon in D(lols,no offence)
